I’m at the game and we are losing 0-5 at HT: they hit the woodwork twice as well.
Our defence are woeful even allowing for the fact they are inexperienced, we have a very tall central defender Woodman who cannot head a ball I’m afraid.
The central midfield have a lot more experience: Bettache, Owens and Duke-McKenna but they have been totally outplayed: only SDM looks half decent. Bettache and Owens look miles below 1st team standards.
Both wingers anonymous, Kelman not involved enough.
In the other hand Middlesbrough look great: this could be double figures as we have little experience on the bench. Shame Armstrong isn’t involved. | | | |
