A couple of poor results (P'boro & Barnsley) should not detract from what a great team Warburton has assembled on a shoe-string.

If we do not sell out a 2k allocation at Millwall for this team (having previously sold 4k for some absolutely rubbish previous versions of this team) then maybe the support base should take a long look at themselves rather than criticizing the players and manager.

I get so many of our supporters now live outside London and getting back into town midweek is grief, but, if you live anywhere on the Tube Map or within 1 hours travel to The Den, get yourself down there.

If I hear one more Rangers fan saying 'I don't want to be held in for 15 minutes' just put this in context in that the station is next to the ground and you're not walking 15 minutes to the station!

Has been hassle free there for years , even last time with no trains after the game , walk to the main road Uber and at London Bridge by 1030. Easy Peary , lot of millwall don’t go any more so crowds and atmosphere are way down compared to previous seasons

They're sick to the back teeth of Rangers games.

Last time I went there was the 2-0 defeat in the Warnock promotion year. Nearly kicked off when we were held in at the end, and that, with the result, made me think I can't be arsed with this again.
Was going to go this year, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that! But then my wife gave me covid.
How do those VPN's work again?

Wasn't that 3-0 in the end? And Shittu got sent off.

But yes that was the one I went to and we got held back for ages - hence I'm not that fussed about doing it again.

That was the only time I've had any issues at Millwall away, including the old den which really was intimidating.

I know a couple of female fans that haven't been back since that game as it literally terrified them

Yeah, that was my last time there as well. It’s such a ball ache having to do things differently because of their reputation and behaviour.

So the logical way for me to go (coming from NE London) would be to go to Surrey Quays and walk. But everyone and everything you read warns against this.

So I will probably be with the herd at London Bridge and the usual penning after the game.

It should not really have to be like that.

I just hope that ‘our dickheads’ do not see tonight as a challenge.

It doesn’t help when you get idiots like Steve Claridge saying after the Everton game a few years ago that “You have to play by the rules when you go to Millwall, and go to the proper station.”
Why should normal law abiding fans have to play by their rules in order to get to watch a game of fecking football? They find enough police to cover a demonstration in London,so why not provide enough to stop these thugs running riot for an hour or two?

I went to the old Den in 1987 and it was fine getting in and out, although they did want to kill us by the end as we blatantly played for a 0-0.
My issue with Millwall away is that we're treated differently because of them. They can't be trusted to behave so we have to be kept in. Same when they play at Loftus Road, with road closures that affect home fans because of the idiot aspect of their support. I'd return the favour to them and keep them in. They'd probably love it though as they can play the victim then

Assume you've got your ticket?

I've been to Millwall countless times and frankly it's a massive pain in the arse so not surprised they haven't exactly flown off the shelves

this, it's at least 2 hours each way for me without being locked in for 45 minutes after the game.

getting back at 1am isn't an option midweek

done it a few times for Saturday 3pm but still just such a PITA

I bought a ticket last minute through QPR box office...

apparently i have to pick up tickets at millwall's ticket office since i bought them too late. unhelpfully, no further instructions were provided

anyone know which stand this would be in? I presume there's a ticket office in the away area, but if anyone has any further info, that'd be helpful

thanks

It seems like there is a Ticket Office (Collection Point) in the North Stand - Away End.
