I'd have Wenger in myself - and I'm normally an advocate for England team = English manager

Southgate has been excellent for England but his race is run now.
My bridge was burnt as I stood at Wembley that night with 3 other fellas crammed into sitting space for one. That was THE chance we had to add another star above the crest and he shat the bed. Everybody could see we were crying out for pace and to stretch the game yet Southgate didn't react and just allowed us to go deeper and deeper and deeper.
He is obseessed with the steady approach whereas games at this level are won by those moments of magic more often than not. We also need pace in key areas.
I would agree that currently we are hamstrung in positions where we used to be strong -- bang average keepers and ropey defenders*; but elsewhere we are stacked with talent that's being criminally underused.
We're also in a spot where one injury to Kane could mean we don't get out of the group stages.

* Harry Maguire... I actually really like him! He seems to be a popular Aunt Sally but I think he's good enough for international level and is a goal threat for us at attacking set pieces. Luke Shaw on the other hand......

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Oh dear oh dear..... Maguire just had a mare not only gave the ball away but then gave a penalty..... ridiculous
We just don't look like scoring..... been the better team and Sterling could and should have had at least 2
Surely must be time to bring on Toney

He has picked the same team form the other night pretty much, really poor

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

It's not been working for a while, yet we keep doing the same thing with the same players.

The players definitely still playing for Southgate. Hopefully this can be a turning point going into the World Cup but I don’t think we can be starting Maguire in this form.

Amazing what happens when you actually attack teams with pace

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore
