QPR, Stoke and Huddersfield all at home with winnable games (our the hardest).

Sheff Wed away at Blackburn on Sunday.

Birmingham have Rotherham away - hopefully The Millars have a new manager bounce!!!

Stoke could drag Plymouth back into it with a win but rather an away win or draw.

Regardless...... We need the three points!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Blackburn have been a shambles.

Sunday morning stuff defensively.

I can't believe how bad Blackburn have been, yes you have to give credit to Wednesday but they were gifted 2 goals , Blackburn have barely created a chance

Agreed, terrible performance. Facking hate Wednesday though.

Sunderland have collapsed so you would fancy Wednesday there

shame Leeds couldn't beat Blackburn last week, they are dreadful

Blackburn played like a team that thought they were safe, just like us at Hull. Still dont see all of SW/Bham/Plym/Bburn getting more than 50. Hudds gone. We'll be fine

Blackburn giving that entire end to Wednesday looks a stinking decision too.

The scenarios for us to go down are now getting into fantasy island. Assuming we get nothing from the last 2 games;

At least two of the following need to happen for us to be relegated. Any points secured in the last 2 games makes us safe anyway,

Huddersfield need two wins and to reverse a goal difference of 11.

Birmingham need a win and a draw, but if Hudds beat them (see above) they can’t catch us.

Wednesday need a win (and reverse a goal difference of 13). I assume WBA will win their game against them. They are at Sunderland on the last day. Had they lost today we would now be all but safe.

Plymouth need a win and are away to Millwall and home to Hull.

Blackburn need a point from matches against Leicester and Coventry.

And to think people wanted Eustace as manager
Could help take two teams down this year , awful manager

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

How many coaches have Wednesday got? A team on their own

Indeed. We were 100/1 last night which means 150/1 at least really. Obviously it’s still possible but these teams aren’t all going to become simultaneously great for two weeks and it’s hardly guaranteed we pick up no more points.

Hardly ‘fantasy island’ scenarios.

Beat Leeds and what happens the rest of the weekend is irrelevant but if we don’t then I’d hope Huddersfield beat Birmingham in which case we are fine.

Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth and Blackburn are capable of getting the points you’ve stated.

Agree if we can't do it against Leeds we need Huddersfield to beat Birmingham as I have a feeling that Sheff Wed may escape.

After watching today's game Blackburn will be lucky to get another point this season

Wednesday equally poor and can't see them getting more than 50 points

You surely aren't serious in crediting him with Brum's potential relegation? They were sixth with 18 points from 11 games when he was sacked for the Rooney circus. Without those points they would already be down.

I'd be very worried if i was them. Personally think it's between them, Brum, and Plymouth for the final spot. SW will stay up imo, long term momentum and Rohl will get them at least 3 more points

Stoke are ahead of us by having scored 3 goals more, so if we do better than they do in the last 2 games we go above them. They are away to Southampton and home to Bristol City. That is another possible insurance policy.

Blackburn won at Leeds a week ago so have got it in them to win tough matches despite being useless today.

Wednesday have just strolled to a 3-1 away victory in a must win game so are not out of it yet.

Let’s hope Cifuentes and the team are not as complacent as you.

That Wednesday result ensures we are not yet safe. A 3-point swing between us and third spot Brum is possible next weekend.

We have a tough game v Leeds. Given the table, it wouldn’t be a surprising defeat. And Brum play Hudds, who they can definitely beat. That would reduce the gap to one point between us and Brum!

Obviously a few teams in between, but does show it’s not over.

His brand of football is boring , we should of beaten them at ST Andrews under Ainsworth they were in a false position at the time , been found out big time at Blackburn

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

And with the focus on Blackburn, a timely reminder that it takes more than a goal scorer.... potentially, they could still go down with the leagues top marksman!!!

Yesterday couldn't have gone much better with Huddersfield and Birmingham not winning and us winning. Todays result not ideal but we still have a 4 point lead with 2 to play so one win guarantees us staying up and a single dropped point from Huddersfield and Birmingham and we will be safe
1
This weekend on 15:25 - Apr 21 with 820 viewsMusicman

If we fail to secure a point against Leeds and Birmingham get a point or more against Hudds....it will be a final match shot out between 5 teams regardless of other results!!!
