Cheltenham's new Director of Football is Gary Johnson, who managed Torquay for a few years until February.
While their new assistant manager is Aaron Downes, who was interim manager at Torquay after Johnson stepped away.
And AJB was on loan at Torquay last season.

I agree, it seems a little rash considering we're hardly blessed in right-back cover + on the back of a successful loan (Young Player of the Year / scoring 6 goals in 17). Worth another look for a yr at least I'd have thought.
But those who've seen him everyday for the last few yrs must be of the opinion that's his ceiling, or not much higher. |  | | |
