Next four games 09:10 - Oct 24 with 2489 views | stevec | gives us a run of games where we can set up the same for all of them, that is, a rearguard action. We could have done with Colback out there and without him this could turn into a slaughter. That said, we’re clueless taking the game to teams so we might do better than expected. If we can drag a point a game out of this run, it’ll at least keep us in touch.

Obviously (very) easily pleased, then, or perhaps you've just had your expectations driven through the floor by our ineptitude as a club. That kind of points 'haul' would go some way to cutting us adrift by Xmas!

Next four games on 21:22 - Oct 26 with 1379 views | queensparker | Well if we spend four games defending like today against Burnley, learn how to become a hard to beat team, and build from there that will be time well spent We’ve been so powderpuff and casual all season, hopefully this reminds us you’ve got to battle before you start the fancy Dan stuff
Next four games on 22:17 - Oct 26 with 1209 views | Hunterhoop | Quite. Build from a solid defence and expand from there. I just wish we’d started the season like that. We’d be on twice as many points. We tried to run before walking with all the new players with no experience in English football and in trying a new system/style.

Having won one game all season and our only half decent striker out. Did you notice how competitive we were yesterday? And that is not the same Burnley side that was promoted and the relegated. It is also an eclectic mix of unknown youngsters from far and wide and a few of the old guard. They are not Real Madrid either and we barely laid a glove on them. Personally I think we paid them far too much respect. If Chair, Saito and Smyth had played to their full potential as an attacking threat we could and should have caused them more problems. Celar looks woeful as an outlet, but as a collective we look hopelessly lost. No cohesion, no belief, just hanging on for grim death hoping our centre backs will save our bacon. Madsen, Santos and Fox have been jettisoned after some awful displays and Celar will go the same way soon unless he bucks up. Bennie, Morgan and Anderson can expect to see more game time soon as the so called first XI fail to cut the mustard. We are hanging on by a thread here and unless we somehow see significant improvements…………
