After 31 years, more than half my life, I no longer live in Sheen. Do I need a new persona to go with my new location? Unfortunately I can’t think of any punning references for my new location. Any other Pimlico Rs?

I've stayed as I am since originating on here as CamberleyR despite two house moves, first to Farnborough and now to where I am in Milborne Port, Somerset.

I can confirm my user name is in no way political,I certainly don't tilt to the left.
It is a shout out to my local team Ballyclare Comrades who were formed by returning soldiers from WW1.A rival started referring to them the Komrads.
Neither am i a Starship Captain.

Just spotted this. We started our Pimlico flat hunting way back in April and popped into The Constitution for a quick one. A family were celebrating their 9 year old daughter picking the winner of the Grand National. My kind of place!

I have to say that when I was of the manor, 'The Constitution' where the original Pimilico R and myself imbibed, had the most miserable bar staff imaginable. Across the road is 'Grumbles' I doubt the menu has changed since I was there in 2005, why should it, it hadn't changed in the previous 30 years. Many a time I wandered over after a few!

There was another great pub in the area and I think it's name was 'The Old House At Home' or something like that. When I arrived it had just reopened after a load of Hoorays had bought and undertaken a refurb. A mate had come down to visit as it had been her local at one time and oh, my what a let down. There they were, three Henrys standing around watching one of them pull a pint, which had more head on it than Don King and when they put it on the bar, they did so with a look of satisfaction that they'd done something greater than crack the Da Vinci code. Never returned.

Good pubs down there, suspect their mostly gastros now though. Enjoy.

I used to be Hillhoop as I live in Hillingdon. I’m going to move soon because lorry drivers and their artics do their driver training down my road and it’s getting on my chesticles.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Will Chesticles be your next new name then, Mick?

Haven’t tried Grumbles yet. It looks like it has the menu of a 1977 Berni Inn, but people seem to love it. The pubs down here are surprisingly old fashioned still, I imagine many of the richer residents would consider a gastropub beneath them, so the pubs are for the estate residents, commuters and budget tourists. Curious to see what the atmosphere is for a Ch*ls** game on the TV is…hoping I haven’t made a terrible mistake coming here.

For the avoidance of any doubt, I don’t live on the Moon.

Nor have I any jet propelled apparatus…

I haven't lived in Brooklyn since July 2016, but Stuck-In-Chiswick-Ranger doesn't have the same ring to it, and it's all about brand awareness these days as I told the former DistortR a few months ago.

Another displaced from the original username Hoop, BarcelonR would be good but I can't be bothered to change it now, I'll only end up moving again anyway.
