Former U's 13:45 - Feb 26 with 49125 viewsRSCOSWORTH

We love our former U's, well most of them anyway, so thought I'd start a thread where we can keep up with them.

Thought I'd kick things off with a happier moment for Matt Jay in Essex as he scored a long ranger against Chelmsford at the weekend. It wasn't a joyous return though as Torquay shipped two late goals to lose 3-2 after leading 2-0.

Jay also got the equaliser away at Weston-super-Mare last night. Hopefully he's starting to enjoy his football again.

I don't think he'd want to go back there. Seemed to have lost a lot of love for the club when he left. I reckon he'll get another job somewhere though.

Newport will probably be looking for a new manager before too long, if he's prepared to drop that low.

Probably a bit too far away for Bloomfield, same goes for Blackpool. Ferguson can't have long left at Peterborough you would think.

I see his first game will be against Diss Town, a club made famous by the Specials in their 1981 hit.

He is set for his Pilgrims debut in Wednesday's National League game at Altrincham.

Spotted Cole Kpekawa tonight playing for Bedford Town against Kidderminster.

Played for England U20 and had one Premier League appearance with QPR. Then had numerous clubs, including two spells with Colchester United, and but soon fell out of favour at most. Still aged only 29.

Funny I was only thinking on Saturday I wonder what happened to Shamal George. Looks like his move to Wycombe wasn't a great one if he now finds himself back in Scotland.
