Yes very pleased with our attacking play. Owdum looked a bit shell shocked after we scored and our defence has kept them out. Could have had 2 or 3, but happy to be winning on what is a very bobbly pitch (did they really spend £1m of tax payers money on that). Flat cap Joe wants us to be booked after every tackle - I think the ref has been good so far. | | | |

Finished 1-1 - a good game not to lose. But with a bit more sharpness up front and we’d have won that comfortably. Defence did not do much wrong and it shows the progress we’ve made being slightly disappointed not to have got the three points.
Special mention to the comic book outfit on commentary, one eyed bias, zero research on Dale and apparently the referee was a pecan? [Post edited 15 Mar 14:35]

The big talking point from today could be the Bird injury. He seemed fine running but then hobbled when he stopped.
First half we played with a calmness, second they dragged us down to their level with hooking the ball on rather than getting it down and keeping it. Gilmour’s display was chalk and cheese either side of half time. We’ve also got to make the most of when we break.
One thing McNulty did get wrong was not having Buyabu on the bench ahead of either of the loan wide players. He could have come on for Allarakhia who was struggling with Caprice. |  |

Think we did enough to win but not too disappointed with the draw. To be fair to flat cap Joe I thought we were lucky not to pick up a couple of bookings.
