Honest as always. An off day, struggled with the low block. Didn't compete as they wanted to. I like the post match reaction today from him and Stephan. They know the issues. No need to panic. There are posters on here who have at least coached extensively at youth amateur level and who are in a reasonable position to talk intelligently about this. You are clearly not one of them.
Did we travel back to London and then head to Derby? Granted Swansea and Derby are not close, but if not, should we not have headed straight to Derby or stayed in Swansea on Wednesday night, travelled in the morning to Derby and then been able to train for a day and a half. Granted we wouldn't have the same facilities available that we would of at Heston but surely we need to be planning for events like this, which are not uncommon in the championship with so many 3 game weeks.
If the argument is that players wanted a little time at home with their families, getting in at 3AM+ on Thursday morning, being back into training a few hours later and travelling Friday morning is not really great time spent with the families. Plus loads of others have to stay over night a few times a year as part of our jobs, much lower paid jobs at that.
If they did travel straight to Derby then they should of been able to have much more time to train. Watch video Thursday, train and make plans for Derby Friday? Also less travelling would be less fatigue, which was evident on Saturday.

I pointed out the bleeding obvious, i.e. the preparation, with hindsight, was clearly all wrong, with further reference to the day's rest (Thursday) the club gave the players. Good luck wth your sour need to enforce a pecking order when it comes to 'legitimate' comment, but perhaps you might just join a suitable cult instead.

Thanks for drawing out/building intelligently on my own polemic - what you say makes plenty of sense. Watch out for E15, however, who will probably be demanding you submit your credentials to offer such in triplicate . . . oh, hang on, you're not me, so you're probably OK.

the players didnt get back to the training ground till past 2am time they got hom likely 3 am , so yes i doubt they did much on thursday , i got back home 130am and did bugger all the following day and i wasnt playing the night before
