I have eyes and I see it differently . Shots they had one that the guy will never hit again, one because our full back was too weak in the challenge and a third from a mistake in the 93rd minute again from a hoof ball. I don't see how that proves they were in 2nd gear. I'm as frustrated as everyone else because we should be doing better but changing the manager at this point in time in my opinion is not the answer

Yep 100%. We win Saturday and Sheehan will get more time. I don't want to keep changing managers but this experiment is not working. Snoop watches our matches apparently, I'm sure he is on the phone now to tell the higher ups to smoke his ass out of this club 😂😂

Htf we lost that game i will never know, we deserved at least a point. Its lucky for 2 bellends that I was on a promise to meet 3 good mates otherwise the would still be picking their teeth up for their sheehan comments out sh!te. We are on our way up, just stick with it people 😘

In the last 5 games we have picked up 5 points. In the last 10 games we have picked up 10 points. Our league position is in decline. That's the reality.

| Preston North End v Swansea City : Match day thread on 06:59 - Nov 6 with 1422 views | Demitrius | Been saying it for a few seasons now we need to sign a Piroe, Ayew or a Bony from somewhere. Zip was hitting a bit of form but has f'd his quad again (correct me if I'm wrong but this seems to be a recurring injury problem with him even when he was at Bordeaux ?) I'm conflicted on the Sheehan situation - part of me says it's down to him and O'Dea's coaching and tactics - the other says bad luck, fine margins and that we'll click eventually. I don't understand why Wales, young and hungry, isn't utilised more? Trawling the socials it would seem that Preston fans piled praise on us, like Charlton fans after Saturday - noting Galbraith's quality in particular. So we are doing a lot right but a lack of goals is killing our efforts - Is it fair to pin that solely on Sheehan or should the recruitment team be getting more stick for putting all the chips on Idah who is still yet to look convincing for £6m ? Answers on a postcard.... | |

| Preston North End v Swansea City : Match day thread on 08:03 - Nov 6 with 1356 views | swancity | A very good performance and very unlucky not to get the win. Undone by a worldie and some terrible defending from Key. To restrict Preston to five? goal attempts in 90 minutes says a lot about our dominance. Lots to be positive about but the reality is it’s a results business. A few wins and we will soon be back in the top half it’s such a tight league. Certainly no reason to panic as disappointing as it is to lose. | |

I undersatnd what you are saying, and also they had what 5 chances, and we had how many? everywhere i look i see fans are shouting about where we are, and how we are playing and times up. What is my decision times up is seeing the moments we see the manager and the coach on the sidelines working out what to do, it seems the second in command is gobbing off while the number 1 is standing there wondering where his slippers are. Players subbed last night looked as if they had reachd a turning point, we are at a very bad time in our season, january window will soon be on us, weve been here before, its now or never.
| Preston North End v Swansea City : Match day thread on 09:52 - Nov 6 with 1183 views | Legend83 | A classis Swansea City of yore performance last night: 1. Only start playing like we can once we have gone behind 2. Dominate possession and momentum for the entire remaining match 3. Get sucker punched 4. Have zero cutting edge or decision making in the final third That first goal, 99 times out of 100 it's going into row Z - it was a shame Casey didn't realise he had more time or just put his foot through it rather than the slightly tame headed clearance but I don't blame him too much. Lots of positives for me. We actually played some nice football, plenty of triangles and running, Galbreith put in another Rolls Royce performance (I know another poster accused him of slowing things down at times), I like that Sheehan is persevering with the 5-4-1, Ronald and Samuels-Smith were very good off the bench and Eom obviously made a difference. BUT, more evidence that Key (as likeable a guy as he is) must be replaced as soon as possible. He is such a poor mans Kyle Walker in that he can get away with stuff because of his pace and engine...but he doesn't actually get away with stuff now and his error count this season that have led to chances or goals must be creeping towards double figures. I like Idah - he has a real burst of pace when he wants to and is strong on the ball, a very different type of player to VIP. Shame he had the same poor final pass decision making last night. I stick with Roberto's mantra - with improved performances will eventually come good results. | | | |

I was the one who said he slowed us down but I’m not necessarily blaming him for that because the options weren’t there for him. Again, this is training ground stuff.

Apologies Union, "accused" was a strong word. I actually agree with you he did at times, but the reason was clear - when he had the ball deep on the left of midfield his main option was Burgess running forward calling fall the ball! He clearly thought that was not the best way to build an attack... We are lucky he is so good with his feet under pressure as he was desperately trying to run the show and so many times didn't have an option - Franco was a poor midfield partner again I thought.

Agree 100% I thought Franco was poor last night, looked tired and didn't offer much support for Galbraith whatsoever (thought Galbraith had a good game). Ronald & Eom are much better utilised as subs in my humble opinion. Cabango seems to have gone backwards, Benson looks uninterested. Football is a game of opinions of course but from where I was standing last night we did not control that game unless you consider passing the ball from side to side to be a strength - perhaps it looked different on the TV? Preston just waited patiently to pick us off and they did.

Yet Benson a player loved at Burnley and one to get fans off arses With us he’s nothing Why is that then

| Preston North End v Swansea City : Match day thread on 13:06 - Nov 6 with 908 views | wwcigne | I think a draw would have been a fair result last night ,their first goal was a worldy ,the less said about the second the better , their keeper was probably man of the match, making some very good saves but we created enough chances We played quite well but we do overplay the ball so slowly at the back ,it’s so boring to watch and gives the opposition time to mark our players up ,when we did break at pace we looked good but on times turned the ball over too easily or slowed it down and passed it back as nobody had made themselves available , I thought Eom and Ronald made a difference when they came on ,both looking for the ball and attacking | | | |

We’ve loaned out players but kept Cullen What does that say Sheehan has four centre halves to choose from yet we are vulnerable Burgess and Ben are basic stoppers who can’t play pretty passing football We shouldn’t expect them to do what they can’t Last night Cabango playing wide trying to provide crosses It ain’t funny Similarly we have full backs who are ok attacking but woeful defending Key’s frailities cruelly exposed last night I feel for him The truth is there to see

You keep on banging on about Key, he was left isolated up against a forward much stronger and bigger than him, there was only going to be one winner. Give it a rest ffs.

Thought the team played for Sheehan and as many Preston supporters stated we could have easily won that game. It’s all over the internet. Nobody likes where we are and it can't continue indefinitely, but Sheehan is determined to get this right.
