Tis a joyous evening - the news that ginger has gone.

Sadly, the board remain. Will Still should never have been appointed manager in the first place & once again, the board got the appointment wrong. I honestly think that Rohl would have been a good appointment but that ship has sailed.

So while this evening I shall have a beer and drink to the dismissal of a totally inept manager, I have no faith whatsoever in SR getting it right next time... none. When they themselves have gone, I shall drink myself to oblivion that night!

I agree with everything you have said. I might join you on having a drink this evening 🍺. WS was disastrously out if his depth. Hopefully, just hopefully we can get the experienced, respected managerbwe need.

His appointment always reminded me of the out of the box thinking that Lowe came up with when he appointed the Dutch Duo (with a dash of Wigley for the inexperience).

Just trying to be too clever, when we needed someone to get the squad by the scruff f the neck and dig in.

But are you ready for Martin Mk II (one of the reasons is this pay off gets commuted!!!).

Someone that kicks each & every one of our lazy-arsed players up the backside would be a good starting point.

Yes Will Still was well out of his depth - but a lot of the blame lies with the players who stroll around - not giving a toss & not putting in the effort required.

Hopefully the new gaffer will be a bit of a disciplinarian & won't take any sh1t. I remember Poch coming in & the players moaning that they needed two hearts under Poch with all the running and work they had to do. Someone like that will do. And I bet Koeman didn't take any sh1t either.

I wish Will Still well. He struggled here and made mistakes as many have done before him, but I hope he goes on to have a successful career, and would not be surprised to see him do well at another club in future. Good luck to him.

He'll be alright. He's getting paid handsomely for doing nothing... and he's now got months of dark Winter nights ahead of him with which to hone his Champion Manager PlayStation skills.

I sometimes wonder if we are changing tyres to fix the engine.

I was a day too early but my thread on Saturday morning was pretty close, also watch out Northam a nonce is on his way.

I’m going with…
A pre-game non existent protest
A 2-0 lose
A post game non existent protest
A sacking on Monday
A SR announcement blaming everyone except themselves
And…Andrew Windsor to move into a bungalow in Northam

They are going to rename the Northam cul-de-sac his bungalow is located in Andrew Mountbatten Windsor Close.

That's not in his honour, it's just to warn anyone with teenage daughters he is in close proximity!

We all know that is absolutely correct, but do you blame Still for applying and taking the job when offered to him?
He knew he would struggle surely (or was he so far up his own arris), but would also gain experience and a decent pay off if he did
Most managers that get the tin tac always reappear somewhere or other

I don’t blame Still for taking the job no.
As I didn’t blame Nathan Jones either.
I blame the clowns that run the club for employing dud managers again and again and again.

Let’s wait and see which out of his/her depth appointment comes next, then the next one in 3 months time followed by another to get us back up to The Championship in June.

The club is rotten to the core and the cancer is Sport Republic.
Wake up people.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
