It is laughable but not surprising. If you're signing players based on data, picking your team based on data and deciding which subs to use in which minutes based on data, then having 24 hours less rest becomes a big deal to you.

Unless we match them for work rate (unlikely) they will steam roller us, regardless of their underlying stats so far this season.
I hope the line up reflects the challenge this game poses, but I am not confident it will.

This point has been made endlessly - that demanding that the manager throws players under the bus in official interviews and provides a detailed synopsis of what is said in the dressing room is neither likely nor advisable. I stopped listening to Manager’s interviews before and after the game because it’s a waste of time.
They’re not going to give anything away beforehand and unless they’re vying for the sack and a nice pay off, they’re not going to throw players under the bus after.

It should make a difference. The stats prove it’s not a QPR issue having a day less, particularly playing away.
It shouldn’t make a difference to the extent of the slop served up at Derby and a performance like that should be hammered if we see similar today. I’d rather wait for that to be confirmed than get annoyed about it 2-4 hours before we know either way. | | | |
