What about when the keeper is taking a goal kick and then decides to move the ball to the other side of the six yard box. And then starts kicking his boots against the posts and having a drink of water etc? Should that not be penalised as well?

Don’t forget the defence standing for the short goal kick, keeper feigning to pass one way, deciding not to, hesitating, have a little think, gesture to defence it’ll be a long goal kick, walk backwards, kick post, hoof to halfway line once defenders have jogged 50 yards.

I'd review every free kick. Every booking. Every goal kick.

I'd start with the coin toss.

Joking aside, I'd be 100% behind VAR if it called back play for clear and obvious incidents of feigning injury, resulting in a booking and/or reversal of decisions.

I'd also stop the clock when the ball is not in play. Yes, we might be there until midnight, but those fcukers who roll around pretending to be dead don't get the advantage of wasting time as a result.

Maybe a bit controversial, but to avoid teams wasting time down by the oppo's corner flag when leading, from the 75th minute onward, the defending team can kick the player as hard as they like, without retribution, if the player is deemed to be wasting time...'kin 'ave some!!

Norwich looked like Arsenal/England in that first half curving corners under our bar and causing mass panic and we all saw the results

I think there are far too many penalties in general. A penalty is a huge ‘punishment’ relative to many of the ‘crimes’, particularly for those silly handballs on the corner of the box which clearly aren’t deliberate but also something like this which was a foul IMO but a penalty feels too much. Plus everyone loves indirect free kicks inside the box. They’re fun.

The point I have been trying to make for years thank you . Pretty simple really right side corner delivered inswinging under bar by left footed player see Norwich first half barrage .
Left side hammered inswinging by right footed player causing mass panic resulting in penalties,goals etc.
QPR take outswingers resulting in fast break attacks towards our goal with all our defenders behind the play after scratching their balls waiting to attack our corners which never drop on their heads

I think to add interest and spice things up a bit, whenever we are awarded a corner at a home match, a seat number should be randomly announced and the lucky individual will come down and take the corner. If this person delivers what is deemed a 'nice ball' in he (or she) will rest in the 'dugout' © for the remainder of the match. He or she will take all subsequent corners. Simple!
