Really hope your prediction is wrong Clive, just read that in Gatwick waiting for my daughter who's flown over especially for the match, poor sod. Let's at least hope handsome Ronnie makes an appearance for her sake.

Great preview. Clive.

I feel a bit for Kolli, Bennie and Esquirdinha et al.
They seem to be used when we are at our must desperate instead of in games where we are …oh I don’t know ..4-0 up against Leicester.
Those games few and far between admittedly but you get my point.
It’s not great for the youngsters thrown in every time when the team is on the back foot.
Every now and then perhaps but it won’t enhance their development long term.
Bennie has started twice against Oxford with the main aim to chase the football until he gets knackered. Might as well sign a Jack Russell .

Quietly... no manager likes young players. They get you the sack.

Mark Warburton came in here with a tremendous reputation of youth development, Next Gen league and all that. When push came to shove, he wanted Lee Wallace, Moses Odubajo, Dom Ball, Andre Gray. He'd rather name five subs than risk an Aaron Drewe.

I don't blame him for that by the way, I wouldn't have picked Joe Gubbins either and the "development club" and people running the academy at that time needed telling, but it's a familiar story. When Stephan came here it was all "Dembele, Doku, Raphinha" as part of the pitch. Then, the second it gets tough, here's Rhys Norrington Davies, because Dembele, Doku and Raphinha are extraordinary exceptions to the rule.

I fcking hate that twt that runs Dorking and his little YouTube channel, but at least he just comes out and says it - I hate young players, they let you down. Every manager wants a 30-year-old with 500 appearances who knows what it takes to win football games. Because if they lose 5 or 6 football games in a row, they get the blame and the sack.

Kolli comes on as sub, gets a couple of goals and one would think, a half decent run in the side.

One game later, and through no fault of his own, is back on the bench. How can you possibly expect him to develop any sort of form or rhythm without playing a decent number of games?

WSL Multiview…..somebody please shoot me.

Yes, we have injuries but we've been poor since the Leicester game. Maybe get a hypnotist in and convince them all that Marti manages Wrexham.

I feel far more confident about the Coventry match than tomorrow!

Bus replacement & TFL line closures mean I'm really looking forward to this game!

I can't help thinking of Alan Hansen's infamous remark on MOTD about Manure that you wn nothing with kids - who then went ahead and did!

You need a blend. If they're good enough, they're old enough. Unfortunately, our young guns usually aren't.

Cheers Clive, I feel your pain.
I wonder if Ronnie playing in front of Dunne and Cook would work, with Madsen slighlt advance and to the right

Also love to see Obikwutus get a start

The last game I saw live was Norwich at home. Struggling with the idea of getting myself down there for this one......

If they’re playing Moore and Smith up front it would be mad to split up Dunne and Cook today.

I like Ronnie but not up against Moore.

If you were at Loftus the Sheffield Wednesday game you may have seen Kolli stretching and struggling a bit in the later stages of his 70 odd minutes. It was quite clear he has had genuine injury issues and that his minutes would need managing.
He then started at WHU six days later and lasted 90 minutes and Stoke seven days later where he played 87. Oxford coming only three days later, was undoubtedly too much and hence Bennie got a chance.
It's not something to bash the manager or the club with. There are other things we can use for that.😁

I don’t think this is the game for Ronnie. In his only full game for Southampton, Kieffer Moore gave him a roasting in the air. Will need Dunne and Cook to try and curb that threat today.

Agree, that’s why I thought him in front of Dunne and Cook as a Defensive CM could work

Amen, to the last sentence, mate.
If we come out and play like we did at Stoke and Oxford, at home to Wrexham, I will give up on football and QPR forever.
Well, probably not, but as close to doing so, as I've ever been!
