Did not think Smyth was yanked too early. Been away on international duty and on yellow card. Also Watford not posing much of a threat. Harvey O'Vale who was also away on international duty subbed just before the 80 min mark. Both set to play on Monday. |  |

As a mid table side you will always win a few but it's about performance for me.
Up until we beat Leicester we'd been pretty good, but still dropped in a few well below acceptable level performances.
After Leicester the performances really dropped. Injuries didn't help, but the intensity dropped out of our game. It felt like results didn't matter, and that came to a head with those 4 defeats in a row where the levels of performance were nowhere near good enough for a championship side.
Since that win over Leicester we look like a different team again, enjoying football and taking on the challenge.
If we cut down on these 0/10 performances and maintain our performance levels we have a good chance next season but I've said that before and things don't tend to change. |  | | |

Walsh 5 seems harsh, after seeing the deflected shot a few times now. If based on him going down for treatment, then take a point of Kone as well. Walsh had a better game and I didn't like the time wasting, but 5 seems out of line, when the opposition keeper gets a 7. | | | |

I was relieved it wasn’t a red as I was sure he’d been booked already.
On the enjoyment point, I had a horrible but familiar feeling leaving the Boro game, “why do I keep coming here?”, if we hadn’t won at Leicester it would have been hard to convince myself to get along to Portsmouth. Now I’m going to Millwall for the first time in my life. |  | | |
