Much as he is criticised I would play Ronald in front of whoever our RB is, be it Parker, Key or Ward particularly in this game. I don't care what Matos said, Cullen was not covering wide right, if he was supposed to be there Matos should have seen that he wasn't. | | | |

I would play Ronald in front of Parker while making sure the middle of the park is tied up, in other words being more cautious with the press making sure when they are in possession the marking is tight all over the pitch if the they want to play it back to the goalie fine a long ball should with our defenders be dealt with Parker looks able in the air and Tymon too providing they are marking properly starting goal side of the wingers with Cabango and Burgess the high ball shouldn't be a problem unless they just want to play head tennis instead of knowing where the most advantageous position to head the ball is. Previously against Leeds we scored 3 because they left gaps at the back as they attacked, Manning needed either Bidwell or Ollie Cooper to ensure over was provided for him when he played for us. We lost to Leeds because we didn't defend properly.
We cannot give the midfield away allowing Southampton the chance to bring in the flanks and central forward players into the game. | | | |
