Like everybody else I really have no idea of the truth of the accusations, let alone the extent of any punishment should we be guilty, but NB for the record the EFL in their wisdom have not laid down any punishment for this sort of offence, so it seems anything draconian would be quite a statement.
But that aside, everyone seems to be forgetting that WE HAVE ADMITTED NOTHING and all the presumption that we are guilty is based entirely on guesswork, hearsay and Boro muppets, and all those morons like James Corden leaping on the bandwagon and assuming that we must be guilty because that is how the media and/or the Gibson clan have shaped it.
Thank Goodness the case is being heard before an Independent Disciplinary Commission who I am certain will pay zero attention to anything other than the pure facts of the case. |  | | |  |

Maybe I am more world weary than you David, but who are the "independent" people, who is choosing them, are they corruptible and even if they are trying to play with a straight bat, they will bring a natural bias to the table that we all have, especially as this has been played out in the media and Saints have been vilified.

I don't "presume" anything, but history is littered with miscarriages of justice and some of these involve independent committees.
I am hoping for the correct outcome, which is SFC are allowed to compete in the final on Saturday. If that does not happen I will see it as a miscarriage of justice as the punishment would not fit the crime, if indeed it has been committed and I would question whether there was coercion and corruption at play behind the scenes. I am not saying this from a partisan position, I would feel the same if I was a Boro fan. | |

Let's assume that the actual truth is that Mr Salt went there at the behest of someone at the club, say within the coaching staff but not TE, and we are found guilty.
Let's also assume that it was just a recce and a see if there is anything in the "wow" factor that TE would not have known from his normal checks, but we didn't act on anything and no one gained or lost anything
Normal circumstances, and to set an example, £500k fine and 3 or 6 point deduction?
However would the independent commission know they will get crucified with threats of legal action etc sway that punishment? Honestly, I think it would
But would Dragan have the balls to appeal and whatever punishment we get is increased as appeals sometimes do
