I just been on oddschecker myself, England are slight odds on to qualify, Brazil are slight odds on to win against Norway, England are a slightly shorter price than Brazil to win the World Cup, so you would expect England to be favourites against Brazil if both teams get through but I can't see that.
England price to win the World Cup is going out and out, Brazil price is coming in and in.
I thought England would be favourites to beat Mexico and they are but I agree with you I think Mexico will beat England . |

Only Brazil on a good day, France were the best team going into the competition and now the competition has started they are definitely the best team, its a cup competion so they might have a bad day, a bad decision go against them or underperformed when the opposition overperforms.

The media make things worse for England and so do some of the pundits, Shearer got on my tits in the game last night as did Micah Richards everytime he spoke he got louder and louder and more intense.
Congo hitting the post missing that chance for 2 nil cost them the game that goes in and they'd have won and probably would have scored again. |

Having had such clear and obvious corruption at the France match, referee, linesmen, var were all complicit, that might help England. FIFO can't afford to another match against a major European side with the referee quite blatantly trying to get a win for the South Americans. OK Mexico aren't, but culturally they are.
That's quite apart from the fact that something needs to be done about Mexico - I expect mayhem. The Mexicans accept no limitations on their conduct on or off the pitch. A lot of people are getting very annoyed. | | | |
