Your hatred knows no bounds. Tuchel was correct in his assessment and made good points, rubbish is over dramatic on your part. Haaland was anonymous while Bellingham is turning out to be the player of the tournament. As I said a week ago anybody can beat anybody from here, one could say Argentina are the luckiest team in the tournament and could have gone out last night, if Switzerland didn't have a player sent off it could have been the case. Wednesday's semi final will be between two apparently lucky teams and could go either way. I do think that if Spain knock out France England's name is on the trophy. Your reaction will be interesting. |

I bet on England at 100-1 during the group stage then as soon as the group stage finished I looked at the draw and bet France, Spain and Argentina to give myself the option of trading out 'laying' and cover every quarter of the draw and they have all made the semi's, so I'm quids in.
I had no intention of betting before the tournament started as it was difficult to predict who would play who in the knockouts, but i did think before the tournament that Portugal would do well but they they were hopeless in the group stage so I avoided them, I seen the 100-1 offer on England during the group stage so bet them, then when the groups finished I bet France, Spain and Argentina, I would have taken Brazil to have got through England's quarter of the draw but because I had already bet on England (at 100-1), I wasn't going to bet on Brazil as well as they both could not both progress from that quarter.
So I have all 4 semi finalists on my side, It doesn't matter now financially to me if England win or lose, but prior to last nights England game financially it did matter to me that England got through, so no hate there. |  |

I told my mate the other day, after he scored his first in their last game, he hardly moved, except for his 2nd, I told him I thought he was carrying an injury, probably occured in the spurt for the first goal. |
I would assume he was injured to be taken off but he always plays like that, Dixon was off about it in commentary, Dixon was also off about it during the Norway v Brazil match and he is an old Kippax boy.

Quite sure it was Keith.
But yes, IF it happened then it should have been reviewed but sensor in ball showed no sign of it. I didnāt see players appeal at the time either or surround=d the ref after the goal so even if it nicked it it clearly had no influence on the ballās trajectory. | |

Well well well, I thought it was odd, I noticed the ball drop straight down to an England player who was able to run unopposed up the field, normally the ball follows an an arc from a goalkick/punt up field etc but this ball seemed to drop vertically straight down from the heavens at the feet of an England player with no defender goal side of him.
I'm not about to revisit it I think it was from a goalkick I apologise if I'm wrong but what I thought what was an attempted long pass to a Norwegian wide player was well short of the mark but perhaps it was well short of the mark because it hit the wires which would also make sense that the ball just seemed to drop vertically down.

All the marginal calls went against Norway, there was 3 instances in the last 3 or 4 minutes of extra time, they should have had a corner but the commentators said that VAR couldn't tell the ref, England goalie collides with his own player and the ref stops play, throw ins and fouls given the wrong way against Norway and that was at the end which summed up their bad luck and England's good luck.
Norway disallowed goal the commentator said that the ref told Anderson to stop pulling Haaland shirt (so why did he not give Norway a penalty) the next corner comes in and they disallow a Norway goal for Haaland pushing Anderson, you could not write it both decisions given in England's favour.
I might have had it wrong but I'm sure the caption towards the end of 90 minutes said Norway 5 SOT and England 1 SOT and that was England's goal off the spider cam cables.
Talk about when your luck is out in Norways case.

I'm sorted now as I have 3 of the last 4 from the start of the knockout phase and England from during the group stage, but if I had to say having seen all of England's games and half of Argentina's matches i would make Argentina slight favourites in the match up to qualify, therefore the 'value' bet in my eyes. I never bet on sports, the bookies just don't make mistakes. Any advantage a customer might have is marginal at best. But I look at their aggregate odds and that's the probability of what's going to happen that I know of.
