He comes into the category of appearing ultra laid back.
And as others have said, does not get massively hyped up when we win and not totally downcast when we lose.
Seems like a nice guy and can see as a coach, his personality type could be encouraging to a wider type of characters and his players are all inevitably going to be very different obviously, also.
Regards his tactics - sometimes we are quite inflexible to change- but perhaps that's more on those above than himself.
Glad the club are backing him but ultimately this won't make any difference if we lose six on the bounce. I hope this season the extra time Stephan has had, bodes well. Realistically for any manager / head coach to work you need to look at a second season for the true impact of their services.

First of all, we didn't just play out from the back. We knocked it plenty.
Secondly, we look to be signing at least one keeper whose ball-playing and distribution is excellent.
So please do dismantle this straw man until next season's evidence can be gathered.

The jury is still out for him, made a lot of basic errors last season. Moving on, I hope he has learned, I hope he is not being dictacted to by Norry and his crew, I hope he has improved overall.
I would say, though, is that he also made some good management decisions and improved several players. He has had a season and his chances are being used up. Rather suprised he is going to sign another contract. | | | |

I'm ok with it - Not jumping for joy but ok. I think consistency is important and he would have learnt a hell of a lot about The Championship and his players last season. Needs to now improve on last season and be a bit more adaptable with his in game management. But happy to give him another shot. | | | |
