Exactly my thoughts and what I stated in another thread. Disappointment in our play comparing our Sheffield game to the previous week's Stoke game.

Huge improvement on last week, yes we can question the difference in opposition and tactically Sheffield United played for a draw away from home last week, but the swans Intent was chalk and cheese compared to last week and was clear to see.
I hope we keep our entire squad so that we have quality to choose from, have an opportunity to rest players, put pressure on players to perform when given the chance and keep opposition guessing with our team selection and tactics.
Wasn't all sunshine and roses, think we lacked some composure and left a few goals out there from the number of chances and positions we created but 3 goals and a clean sheet away from home is superb.

One thing to mention, if we’d taken a two goal lead last season we would have conceded and made lives difficult for ourselves. May still have won but it would have been edgy. We kept going today.

I don't know if Derby were that bad they made us look good or if we actually were that good today. Very good team performance and a completely different attack game with the change of strikers. Lissah was good. Welsh was good and Eustaquio certainly looked the part when he came on. We still made a fair amount of mistakes although we did weather the Derby storm.
Should have been 5 or 6 nil and I think that Vip looked really good when he came on. Made the right decision with his shot but keeper reacted well. He also laid off a couple that could have resulted in goals.
Jubilation but Derby were poor
To me it looks as if Vip has lost some weight. And now looks a bit quicker than last season ?

Derby were poor, but we exploited it to the full.
First half we were a bit unnecessarily cagey. We took the lead and then kinda held back a bit. Think it was something like the 40th minute before we had our next shot on target.
Second half they came out fighting but didn't really cause any trouble and then I think it dawned on us that that was the best they had and we just accelerated away. Could have scored another three or four in the end.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

In some ways VIP looking average may be good for us. If he’d scored a couple today it may have been harder to keep him. Of course, he still may go.
Our away form is taking shape but we’ve got to get our home form up there with it. Only Sheff Utd to go by but that was disappointing. Let’s take the games by the scruff of the next week and two wins are definitely possible.
After today, confidence will be higher again.

Allegedly the interviewer in the Matos post match, a journalist who can’t even say Joseph Opoku properly because his tongue is stuck in north Wales got a mumbled response from Matos about having a deep cut on his knee. Which is good news indeed. By that I mean no cruciate or long time out.
But these interviewers must be on a fiver an hour. Didn’t follow up with nothing like exploring the nature or time to heal. Useless.

If that’s the same one as the interview above, he presumably works for SwansTV. His questions every week involve putting words in Matos’s mouth, not allowing him (purposely or otherwise) to answer the question his way. He’s awful.

Brilliant win, watched it up at Brecon thought we were superb from start to finish, Lissah and Welsh were first class, excellent performance from both.

Just my opinion, and there is doom and gloom earlier in this post as a result of folk seeing the team. It's football fans its always been the same and there is always a different vibe when we win.....great win today away from home...3 goals scored none against .....a new CB pairing which stood up to the test we could have scored a couple more ...
