Sadly passed a couple of years ago but had been a regular contributor to RNLI and was due to leave sizeable donation in will..... Given the events of recent years with this BS you can probably guess how that turned out for a forces veteran...

RS1, you've pointed out the problem that needs to be addressed first. In your words, "People Working illegally in the UK ..." They're here illegally, so kick them out. Force them to immigrate legally. If they're working in the UK illegally, then they're taking jobs away from those who are in the UK legally. That is a drain on the state because the persons who are here legally will then need welfare services from the state because the illegals took jobs that they could do.
People and/or businesses hire illegals because it's cheaper than paying someone to do the same job legally.
No one wants to see anyone starve or be deprived of medical care. There are charities who will take care of illegal immigrants. But there again, these illegals should be forced to leave and re-enter legally. Think about that. If illegals weren't allowed in the UK, then those same charities could instead use their donations for legal immigrants and/or citizens when and if they get into financial trouble or need medical assistance.
In the US, employers of illegal immigrants get fined from $700 to $28,000 per illegal immigrant hired. Repeat offenders can face criminal charges, add'l criminal fines, and prison time.
By the way, your very first statement "Why not? UK citizen it's free", is incorrect. You think welfare services for UK citizens are free? Where do you think the government gets the money to pay for the welfare services? Out of thin air? Money comes from your taxes that you pay and from the government when it borrows to pay for any and all services that your tax money can't cover.

Palestinians belong in Palestine. Iraqis belong in Iraq.It is Benjamin Netinyahu who has mobilised these poor people with his strategy of destabilising the middle eastern regimes supporting Palestine statehood.

As I said elsewhere, the government are pushing people towards Farage and reform. Their stupid policies are making even normally centrist people look at the situation, look at the evidence and say enough.
I'm not against helping genuine refugees but we should be saying anyone cominhg here illegally will be refused entry, we catch them at the beaches, take their biometrics and tell them they can go back from whence they came.
