In a previous job I worked near St. Pauls and only got a very short lunch break.
The nearest hairdresser was Vidal Sassoon on Cheapside!
I popped in one lunch and a junior girl cut my hair. Did a great job and she could have been a model, from Sweden!
I used to go back after that, but the problem was she kept getting promoted!
So, what started out as a £20 haircut ended up being £70 (I think) as she was something like top stylist!!
I had to terminate our relationship after that ;p
I reckon my takehome at the time was about £150 a day, so as nice as it was an all that... | | | |

One of the several advantages of losing hair is the ability to do a buzz cut in a few minutes for nothing. When I was a young hipster about town I thought nothing of a hair maintenance session at one of the cool places on Portobello and that must have been over £20 even in the 90s. | |
