I was really enjoying watching Madsen’s surging runs into the opposition half during the second-half yesterday, which unfortunately came to an end when we went down to ten men.
It was an aspect of his game which he has never really revealed before and I guess having the solidity of Kamara alongside and behind him enables him to play with more freedom. Having him carrying the ball forward into dangerous areas like this would be a real plus for us if he can keep doing it. |  | | |

I was a bit sceptical when we signed him... An older player, with a middling record at this level whose been frozen out at Rennes? It seemed a bit desperate. However, he's been absolutely brilliant, and basically what we were begging for last season - an 8 who can progress the ball, tackle and make space for teammates. | | | |
