I'd love Ned to interview Rednapp, I'm sure 'Arry boy would decline. The bloke is totally Teflon, if this was somehow aired on the full media platform the powers that be would close ranks around him and any accuser would be dragged through the mud. Ned is very politic when he describes HR as not his normal self when in charge of us but when you hear of his treatment of Ned, the accusations of drinking(he's teetotal) and then calling him down to HQ from his Manchester home days after his mm has passed away cos he needs him for Saturday away at WIGAN then doesnt even put him on the bench. Rednapp is a complete charlatan.

You are joking, he could spot a pass that many wouldn’t.

Do what The bloke had a magical left foot, a brilliant midfielder , if fit would probably have gone to a bigger club than us He would of made a great sweeper for us in his later years , we should of kept him longer than we did
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Spagghettihoops is right though. Love Faurlin to death but he’s probably top 10 midfielders in my QPR fandome. No more. Another one of those players that’s improved by not playing?

Nedum interviews Ali on 22:28 - Feb 27 with 1837 views | MedwayR | I think it’s more likely some are forgetting how good he was rather than him being remembered as being better than he was. That Man City at home game, best player on the pitch, ran the midfield against players like Toure and Silva, that’s how good he was. Also on the verge of an Argentina call up, no mean feat playing for a smaller club.

Personally think Faurlin was on the verge of a big money move prior to the injury at MK Dons. His stats in the Prem those first few months were outstanding He could pass, tackle, go long, short , retain possession, goal scoring definitely an area to improve but he was a proper footballer. A mate of mine was a Spurs season ticket holder but around that time often used to come along to watch us as well. He was a big Taarabt fan but always maintained there was one player he would have had at Spurs was Ale Don’t think he’s a player that has got better due to romanticising think it’s more you don’t realise how good some players were until not there. In my opinion 2nd best Centre Midfielder we’ve had in last 30 odd years behind Wilkins

Agree with all this. Where Ale ranks in your "All Time QPR Midfielders" list probably depends on your age. If you were around for the glory days of the 70s, no he probably wouldn't be as high. For those like me who are 1995 onwards...I cant think off the top of my head an all-round better midfielder that I've seen play for us than Alejandro Faurlin. An absolutely marvellous player. God I miss him...

Yeah sorry top 10 not quite right. Must have been the beer talking... Excellent player and a shame he didn’t quite reach his true potential.

On the coach returning from the Burton League Cup game where Ale injured his knee for the third time, Redknapp was told that the injury might not be as bad as first thought. He replied shame. Nedum was sat just behind them & heard every word but would not relate the conversation withouty Ale's permission.
