It's an absolute bloody joke. Dykes starting every game...wow. I've never known a worse professional footballer. Is Warburton still being paid by Brentford i wonder? We'd be better off with a 50 year old Brett Angel up front. We have a good team now, but Warburton isn't anywhere near getting the best out of it. He's yet to pick the best starting lineup in a single match. Can't believe what i'm seeing. Al must be proper pissed by now. [Post edited 4 Mar 2021 1:13]

It is good at this time that good ol Charlie is stcking the ball away when given a chance, I expect nothing less, very experienced player at a good level and a decent player when in full flow. Problem we have is players around him are not in the same league which makes life difficult, I am sure he is and will give our other players advice to just why things are not working, Dykes must be showing in training he is close to being a half decent forward or why keep selecting him. Barnsley showed last night one way of winning a football match, might not be Barcelona style but bloody effective and from a side on paper most thought cannon fodder at the start of the season. Their manager has shown you don't need a team of high costing prima donnas to play entertaining winning football, a lesson Warbs can take on board, ticy tacy style is another that may work on occasions but only if the players are very highly skilled and exlemperary at breaking quickly and with vision. Our team has not become that awful overnight they have beaten teams towards the forefront of this league, last night was a harsh lesson, credit to Barnsley, losses are hard to take but each game will throw up a few conumdrums, it's how you solve them that can improve your team next time out. | | | |
