Old shirts 16:16 - Dec 10 with 7142 viewsstowmarketrange

I posted a picture of a few of my old qpr shirts on Facebook and a bloke wants to buy my KLM one for £50.I’ve seen one on eBay for £175,but I think that is vastly overpriced, but is £50 a reasonable price? Are they that rare?

Look at the retail prices of these:
https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=qpr
https://www.retrofootballkits.co.uk/search?type=product&q=qpr

You've got £150-200 worth.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end
Poll: Where are we going to finish this season?

£75 for a shirt with Bothroyd on the back, £150 for a shirt with Santos on the back, £600 for a shirt with Hateley on the back. Seems like price goes up the more useless they were!

He wants to buy it to sell on at a bigger profit.

Tell him £150 and see what he says. If he’s not interested then he only wants it to sell on.

Also, this seems like a steal in comparison to those on the link. Provided you can get into a size small...

I recently sold my 1995/96 long sleeved Compaq shirt for £85 on eBay, so I am sure your KLM must be worth a lot more

Not sure exactly, but I think thre KLM one will be worth more than 50, I wouldnt be surprised if he's a seller, and then puts it on later at vast profit.

Depends if you care, or fancy more profit for yourself you can try and sell that way.

He says his dad has a season ticket in South Africa Rd,but when I suggested meeting his dad at the Swansea game rather than trust the post,he said that he wasn’t sure his dad was going now.
Then he wants to buy my old Guinness shirt too,so I suspect he might be a dealer, but I wouldn’t think about selling them on eBay,so they’d just go back in the drawer again.

It's difficult, I was interested in buying the 1997-98 Erriccson one (I think thats the correct year) and found it online for about £120.00 - opted against it eventually (I think I just thought - what might it look like.

Saying his Dad is SAR might be true, but the fact he didn't want to make arrangements is a bit suss.

Hardly difficult to say someone does something they don't.

ON the other hand he and they may well be QPR fans but also dealers I guess.

Personally I'd sell it myself on Ebay or something.

That's got to be fake.
Surely there's no way anyone bought a shirt with Bothroyd on the back.

I've got an Erickson shirt that was an unclaimed prize in a raffle. Trouble is it's signed by Ian Dowie.

I've got a signed brand new shirt from the 2013-2014 play off winning team. I wonder how much that would be worth?

Someone in Thailand makes great replica Rangers adidas shirts. I know it’s somewhat frowned upon however I’ve been waiting 40 odd years for someone to make them. He has the adidas feyonoord shirt and it’s apiece of art. He’s been kicked off eBay so now goes through other routes. Pm Me anyone interested.

Stowmarket glad to have helped

D'ya know how few have those names on the Back? Rarity is an important factor in the world of secondhand merchandise.

Which old Guinness shirt stowmarketranger .I gave my away first and only Guinness shirt from 83 I think ,maybe 84 to my nephew when I emigrated to America and am still regretting that decision.
I have bought at least 3 versions from the club shop retro section but none have that velvet feel that my first one had

The long sleeve Binatone away shirt is £131!!
I have a cigarette burned short sleeve one, I wonder how much that's worth.

Mind you someone came up to me at work 3 years ago (Newcastle fan and much younger than me) and said "That's a proper looking shirt mate".
