I think the problems begun before the Reading match. There were a few games that QPR nicked (Coventry and Bristol City away spring to mind) where the team didn't play well but the result papered over the performances. The problems were not rectified and since then results have matched performances. |  | | |

Barnsley and Millwall away for me where we were frankly piss poor, can't put my finger on it only to say we have some bloody good players who don't perform well on a consistant basis.
I might be a bit wayward here bit some of Warburtons substitutions baffle me too?
We're still in the play offs, the result today was shyte but lets get things right the ref didn't beat us today Cardiff did.

We weren’t comfortably beaten. We were far the better team in the first half, and had a good opportunity to go 2-0 up which would most likely have sealed the win. We conceded an equaliser which owed a lot to the referee’s failure to give the foul on Dickie. I agree that after that we seemed to lose energy and struggled to get hold of the ball.
So I think some of the gloom on this forum is overdone. However, we do need to use possession more positively by getting the ball forward quicker and we must learn to prevent/defend opposition breaks and make some quick breaks of our own (we’ve scored a few from breaks this season but I suspect much fewer than other successful teams - would be interested in the stats if anyone has them) | | | |

Thought they just about 'edged' the second half and in a five minute spell scored two goals and from then on I couldn't see us getting back into It.
There's no gloom from me I just say how I see things, there was a time a while back when conceding goals like today we had an attitude of not letting our heads drop but getting on with It and getting back into the game, that attitude seems to have disappeared for what ever reason, It's the last result we wanted today but I'm not lying when I say today's game was always gonna be a tough one.
For the first time this season I'm not as pissed off as I used to be after losing at home, I honestly half expected It.
We are still in the play offs so as I said a while back on some other thread It's ours to lose not anybody elses but If we're gonns stay In the play offs we really need to get into overdrive PDQ and star winning games.
I'm not 100% sure we have that capability, sincerely hope I'm wrong. | |

Don't see him doing anything different while he's here. Kendrick might as well have had his head on the wrong way round; I don't recall him looking forward at any point in the second half. Got what we deserved because we sat back and played the pointless possession football we used to mock Rodgers' Swansea for. Really depressing to see how we've thrown away the season, particularly with Brentford being joined by Fulham next season. How many years till Harrow are the fourth best team in West London? | | | |

Let’s face it Austin was brilliant this time last year but he’s be on a fast downward slope since day 1. Gray isn’t good enough. And Dykes (when he’s fit) is no goal machine and is not the striker to make us promotion material.. Next season we need to forget Austin, return Gray and buy a proper , fit and young goal scorer (or two)
In a month we have gone from having games in hand against rank bottom 6 teams that we should have won easily and thus gone up to 2nd, to now where the clubs behind us all have a game in hand and if they win that game we are out of the top 6, and if we do that we won’t get back in.
I am not suggesting that we change managers but perhaps pose this question. Warbs has done wonders for the club but has he reached the limit of how far he can take the club forward.
To actually get to be genuine promotion contenders next year do we need to be ruthless with our management and players? | | | |

I hate to say it but I genuinely feel that Hendrick's arrival has upset the balance of the team. Admittedly he was good against Blackburn, he was awful today. Hid the whole game and I can't help but think the team are perplexed by his inclusion.

Agree with everything here apart from the line on Gray. He may have had little service, but what little he had he was absolutely woeful with apart from his finish.

At the moment we're short a striker. It might be as simple as that. That's no knock on Gray, who's generally done what it says on the tin, but his qualities don't suit the rest of our team. We're better with a back-to-the-goal receiver-goal-hanger type, like Dykes when he's fit. Another in the same mould would do us OK I feel, but it's too late this year. | | | |
