RIP i recall mid 80s in the west paddock, qpr were coating him, the ball came into the terrace/paddock and was bouncing down the bottom steps, i went to get it going "baldy" or something, the ball was still bobbing about and came up and hit me in the face, he stood there looking and said something like " you look silly now" , he was right and imo a bit of class. good player
