As McIlroy says, they chose to leave but by coming back to the tour when it suits they’re blocking up and coming players from getting the points needed for a tour card.
Difficult to not show them if near top of leaderboard but should certainly freeze them off screen unless a serious threat.

I've been to some days at the Open Championship that were played in a bloody hurricane. No fun. Went to Sandwich last year and it was glorious, sat on the bank at the 16th on the last day and watched them all come through. Burnt my head. | | | |
