All those that wanted out Dykes and then joke about his health 02:48 - Feb 2 with 2281 viewsnumptydumpty

Really well done you donuts

Unfortunately there are too many planks in our supporters.

Shocking though to send crap to a players wife when in hospital but seriously saw a couple joking about ink poisoning on here. What plums. In my eyes that's automatic ban. Disgrace.

My mum and nan before her died of pneumonia.

It can be that serious.

Let's hope for Lyndons sake it's mild but seriously it makes me wonder what total donuts we have supporting our club.

Some people truly need take a look at themselves, instead of criticising and ridiculing those that are far better men than they will ever be

Shockingly evil comments !!

I realise I can put certain people on ignore but I can't be reading jokes about Dykes in hospital.

But I think i am taking a break from here.

Do people realise lyndon could read such comments in hospital...

The joke was made by one poster early in the thread when people weren't even sure he was in hospital.
I would say humour is a very British way of responding to things, and the poster is not one who comes on to slag players/the team, not a vindictive bloke at all.
And it was a good joke.

There’s already a LD in hospital thread.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Well I fail to see it as a good joke.

Depends on what a person has experienced in life.

Lost two very close family members to Pneumonia and also many years ago an ex girlfriend caught it on top of other illnesses at the time and it nearly did for her, so forgive me but I don't see it as a good joke !!

Listen, being a prick about Dykes isn't on. The stuff Bianca is calling our fans out for, she's right to do so.

But a joke about ink poisoning isn't offensive unless, for some reason you've had loved ones die of ink poisoning. It's just a reference to him have probably a few too many tattoos and isn't offensive. Sure, it's making light of a serious situation but that's okay.

There's a line, sure, maybe it'd be different if Dykes died and then someone said 'was it of ink poisoning' then it's more of a thing.

We've got plenty of dickhead fans and reasons to be annoyed at them but that was a pretty harmless joke.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

You started this thread by saying 'really well done you donuts' isnt that a lot more insulting than making a joke about one of our players having a lot of tatoo's.What your saying of course is that people should only be allowed to say things that you agree with or like.Well i
dont like threads that start that way but your free to say it.

Ok appreciate that being called a donut is not great but sadly I have history with Pneumonia and losing couple family members in very recent times because of Pneumonia and as said years ago almost losing an ex girlfriend to the disease, I can't read anything about people making light of nit as has been an extremely painful experience in my lifetime with links to the condition so hope you understand but its not something to me that can be joked about at all.

Nobody was joking about Pneumonia or mentioning your family so your getting your knickers in a twist for no reason

Ok, look, come on.
I think the joke in question was posted before we knew what it was that was wrong with him.
Appreciate it's a personal issue but I don't think it's going to do us much good turning on each other.
I'm going to lock the thread now, existing Dykes thread is there to discuss the player.
