Safari help 15:10 - Feb 20 with 1261 viewsQPRSteve

Following a software update a few weeks ago I've found Safari is taking an inordinately long time to load some web pages. I've tried clearing history and the cache but it hasn't made a jot of difference.

Has anyone else experienced this and are there any suggestions for solving this?

Thanks in advance.

I'd book a trip if I could load the bloody Botswana Tourist Agency website!

Chrome time and then you can switch computers if you need too. But staying in Safari means you will be beholden to them with your data as that's often how you access it

Check your settings there is probably a new update Apple are usually pretty quick with hot fixes if something is playing up

There was an update that seemed to sort the problem but it only lasts for about a day before slowing again.

I'd use Chrome if I could work out as to keep my bookmarks as a sidebar.

Have you run activity monitor ? To see if its doing anything funky? Page load is usually network speed , might be worth running Avira check there is no coin mining nonsense going on or similar. Or do you have a 3rd party ad blocker that might be causing it?
