Well, I thought a QPR supporting referee who oversaw QPR games a bit interesting at least.
| Mark Halsey on 14:17 - Sep 4 with 3565 views | HamptonR | Very interesting. I always assumed that it was common knowledge that he supported QPR, but I never knew he was the assistant ref that day. | | | |

| Mark Halsey on 16:05 - Sep 4 with 3357 views | paulhoop2 | Funny enough I no his cousin all mad qpr fans from way back. When questioned on the fact he did qpr games he said he had to give it up doing us as was too difficult not to give decisions our way without bias lol never knew he was Lino for that game either. Good red tho one of the better ones let the game flow very much like dermot Gallagher who is one of the best I’ve seen | |

When people referred to the QPR supporting ref, I assumed they meant Graham Poll. [Post edited 4 Sep 2023 17:48]

I'm another who thought it was common knowledge that both of them supported Rangers. Both of them were better than most officials at the time & since. Poll, of course, didn't get himself taken off of Rangers games!

Apart from the Southampton game where he made us take the penalty again as we missed it first time around. And sent their player off for handball? [Post edited 4 Sep 2023 18:44]
