Hmmmm.

Sad to say, but i was always flabbergasted by the hostility. Even the most innocuous comment, no matter how accurate it turned out to be, would be viciously attacked by somebody every time.

Yeah I agree to a certain extent fella, at times it does seem like a school playground battle of I'm right you're wrong, all gets a bit immature and boring.
