Ian Holloway, WHAT A GUY.

https://www.theguardian.com/fo

Read this.

I know that this board annoys me as it under-appreciates Illias Chair, but surely we all love Olly, don't we?

Can we go out yet?

This has been done to death but....... personally, I have him down as one of the best R's Managers ever in my time following the club.
If not THE best then certainly in the top 3 (Warnock and Gerry the other two).

I don't know the in's and the out's but from the outside looking in, Ollie took a burned out shell of a club and re-built it on fundamentals of 100% is the minimum anyone has to give.
My own take it that without achieving what he did, there might not be a club to follow.

Not read the article but it matters not what it says - legend for me every day of the bloody week.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I liked him, but getting help to hear the word shit doesn't really swing it for me.

One of the good guys for sure.
He’s always been madder than Mad Jack McMad, winner of last year’s Mr Madman competition but also what a charismatic & inspirational fella. Anyone else there when he gave that speech at the QPR 1st meeting at Ealing Town Hall all those years ago? Fücking hell, that was really something special.
If I was a player I’d run through a brick wall for him. It was a very special time to be a QPR fan. Not sure the club & fans have ever felt more together than they did back then & more than anyone else that was Holloway’s doing. It started happening after Joe the Taxi’s post-Vauxhall Motors meeting with Ollie at the training ground & it started going south once that slippery shyster Paladini got involved but the years in between those 2 events were definitely some of the best times I’ve had in 50 years of QPR support.

Was that the meeting at Hammersmith Town Hall once the Wimbledon stuff had come out?

Daphne’s hearing aid having a ruck with the speakers at one point !!

A good man, his first spell as manager were some of the best times in the last 20 years or more. As a player Ollie was a good support act for Super Ray and made the most of his footballing abilities by his own admission.

Nothing but respect from me.

He Is/was an okay bloke, the Year we got relegated from the Prem he opened the scoring for us at Newcastle, I shall never forget It because I was ejected from the away end for over exuberance celebrating In front of the Geordies to our right, I'll never forget his silly face celebrating In front of us at Hillsborough, that was a special moment, he was like us fans ecstatic.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Oliie's first time as manager is my favourite era of supporting the club. He pulled everyone together.
