I think what Iraola did at Bournemouth was superb. IMO would defintiley deserve a crack at Anfield, and so would Glasner too

Like the OP said Alonso must be tearing his hair out today with this news when Liverpool was his dream job but took Chelsea instead.
Hard to believe his agent did not snoop around Anfield top brass to see if there was the slightest chance Slot would me sacked or maybe it was just simply a split second decision to ax him.

Didn't Salah's Insta post come after Alonso was appointed? I think it was all the likes that came from Salah's teammates that made the owners realise all was not well.
Whoever takes over will find it difficult with all the new players from last summer and incoming. There is rarely instant success when squads change so much and that was part of Slot's downfall along with the awful Jota incident. |  | | |
