Just like Rangers Stadium, MATRADE, Stan Bowles Stand, Bhatia Stand, GO OUT and whatever nonsense the other stand is - call it what you like for a few quid chaps.
Because it is, and always will be, Loftus Road, Ellerslie Road, South Africa Road, The Loft and the School End. Well, to me, anyway. Not sure I've heard anyone say are you going down the Matrade to sit in the GO-OUT stand? |  | | |

Yes or the awful "The Loft" when talking about the whole ground rather than the home end. But, I realised I am just old and curmudgeonly and everyone can call it what they like. Each to their own and I like the traditional old names, but live and let live. | | | |

We were playing Tranmere away one Saturday in the late-90s. So I thought I'd pop over to work, do a bit when it was quiet, and then join up with the rest of the Manc Rs for the fame.
Two hours in, I'd merely made two cups of tea, and spent my time on the old dot.org before thinking, you idiot, do some work! So, I wrapped up the post I was on by referring to our home ground as, HQ.
And indeed it is, a HQ of sorts. |  |

They can call it what they want it will still be Loftus Road.
On the Watford thing . I’ve lived in Watford for 25 years or so and it will not or ever be in London.
My sisters in laws old friend Geri Halliwell did a documentary about her life and insisted on calling her old town , North London . That TV was lucky to survive. | | | |
