Refereed him a few years back he was playing for hungerford vets at Hanworth Villa, Macca also played for them but was absent that day, they had jimmy Quin upfront who scored a hatful. Unbelievably Ted, he was on loan from Liverpool. That game against Middlesbrough at LR easily one of the top 3 or 4 performances I've seen in an Rs shirt. He was unplayable. If I remember rightly Nigel Pearson was playing out of position at right back for them that evening and was hauled off at HT after Kennedy had him on toast in the first 45. |  |
