Great experience for the guy...can only be good for us that he plays in international’s against teams like Israel.

I fancy him to Nick a goal now..

I'm on this.

Will be great to watch him play a full game

I'm going to watch it. I haven't watched many Scotland games since Mackie was dropped. I'm interested again

3-1 Israel then.

Best of luck to him - signs up for the Rangers, then a full international debut before he's even pulled on our shirt (in a non-friendly game)! Has that ever happened before?

Jan Stejskal? Think he might have signed for us before going off to a World Cup.

This game could be played without keepers and goals at this moment. Both teams don’t seem to have a clue about the point of the game

Not sure if we signed him quietly before the tournament or as a result of his performances during it, but I think the first us fans knew was afterwards.

Either way, he was well established as their No. 1 for that World Cup. Played excellently too.

I loved when newly transferred players just showed up.

Julio Cesar? - not a debut, granted. Notable that when he shipped 7 (seven) goals against Germany, he was still officially a QPR player

I remember Damien Stewart playing for Jamaica v England after he just signed for us. Peter Crouch got a hatrick and missed a penalty.

Billy Dodds

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Lyndon Dykes has been excellent. He's had four or five times to hold the ball up, bring others into play and he's done it with aplomb

brilliant forward play by Lyndon Dykes. He races to control James Forrest's clearance and draws a foul, and suddenly Scotland have position on the half-way line.

Nothing comes from it, but the striker's ability to get on the end of hopeful balls is impressive

When willl this CV nightmare end

Would have thrived with Greeno in the side!

I'd go with that. Looked solid in that game.

Thought he did ok. Did well with coming to the ball and playing other people in. Didn't get a chance at goal but i like the look of him.

Smells like a trout farm in here
