Multiple decades of dross !!!! 00:44 - Jan 5 with 2252 viewsnumptydumpty

After too many years to bother keeping count.

I have come to a stunning moment of sheer clarity.

For so many years, hope, passion and pain.

I have finally found the one word that aptly sums up Queens Park Rangers football club in all elements of its being......

And that word is ........

SHIT

Good night sweetheart !!!!!!!!

In the near 14 decades of the club, Queens Park Rangers have been dross for 11 of them!

Apart from the period from 1966 to 1996, we have had less than 10 seasons that success looked a possibility. Or to put it another way, the only time we've not been shit is when Jim Gregory was chairman/owner!

Having said that, I've not felt close to this disinterest in the club at any point in my life (and that includes my childhood when I wasn't a Rangers supporter)!

Any chance Jim Gregory can be resurrected?

Or can run the club through a medium?

I was trying to say this the other day much less effectively than you. Basically this club is Jim Gregory, with his tenure so good quality survived a good few years after he left. Otherwise it's 3rd tier nothingness to both horizons.

On the other hand, it does imply that if we get luck with another genius-level chairman we can have some more fun.

it has been a test of loyalty and endurance but hey, i am QPR and never expected shelves of trophies, cup wins and all that. just 11 players giving their all for the hooped shirt and for us.
the few moments of joy mean more and at least i ain't fulham or chelski !!

We're currently the exact opposite of Celtic/Rangers/Man City fans who go to every home game (at least) knowing they'll win with the occasional blip of a draw/defeat.
