As a child I would look forward to seeing it and perhaps even QPR might feature but over time it has become dated, like myself. There is so much football on TV and social media platforms now that I doubt it's watched by many anymore. Kids don't watch TV anymore either!!! | | | |

Shocked it has lasted this long. The type of football discussion it offers is now readily available through podcasts and other online content - by people who know their audience. The BBC (and Sky too) do not. Alex Scott shouldn't get the blame for its demise - she's a terrible presenter in my opinion which doesn't help - but it was the BBC who installed her in their latest box ticking exercise. The Beeb pushing the women's game through it as if it's on the same level as the man's game - big mistake. Of course, it's a football magazine show so no problem with the women's game getting fair coverage, but not to the level it did every week. Sad to see it go, as OP says - unsurprising. |  | | |

The only reason I ask, is because there's another thread open about the current White House press secretary, a woman, in which comments like "Leavitt gives blond bimbos a bad name" "Bulbhead Barbie" and "An AI bot could do the role and be no less genuine" (yours I believe?) and I'm yet to see any white knighting from yourself or others to point this out. Far too much analysis on why it ended. It ended because there’s more football on now at 1230. Premiership plus EFL games. If you were going to the game, you wouldn’t watch it anyway. It was for the tv game watching fan. And, quite obviously, they’d rather watch actual football and get a choice of all 4 leagues than watch people talk about it. [Post edited 25 Apr 9:42]
