Will drive him to the airport!!

Seriously, with Nelsen going we are short of centre-halves. Must have someone coming in.

I'll carry him there but its only a loan with a view to signing permanently so once they sample his ability they'll send him straight back!

So it sounds like Cisse and DJ gone up front and Anton and Nelsen gone in defense. Of that lot, only Cisse would have been on big wages. Anton may be a little shaky but we dont want to be where we were after Gorks left -- a few defesive injuries and suddenly we were wondering how we were gonna fill the CB spots.

What do you count on big wages? Given the manner in which Ferdinand was signed, and how the club was behaving at the time, I bet he's on a frightening amount.

Anton will be on at least 40k a week, Cisse was on big money as well.

If we can get rid of Anton that's an excellent piece of business

I'm off to the gym. I could get a game yet.

Good luck if he goes, I bloody hope we have someone lined up though, unless Mbia is being considered.

We could name a 35 man squad let alone a 25 man one.
One things for sure with QPR signing players won't be a problem, we'll have another new team by the time we play Norwich and be back to the old one by the Fulham game

I just had a site meeting with a Hammers fan who was talking to him in the players lounge post game Saturday.

He jokingly asked Anton if he'd like to come back to Upton Park and Anton said he'd "jump at the chance".
Cheers -- all that support during JTgate and all that

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I'd rather M'bia stayed in midfield. Looks much, much better than in defence imo.

Agreed he's our midfield destroyer, need to leave him there, imo.

What did you expect him to say to a West ham fan? Feck off I'd rather eat my own testicles. Ferdinand is the same as any player he'll jump at the chance to go anywhere for regular football and a good wage.

Lets face it we won't think twice about selling him despite the terry affair so why shouldn't he keep his options open

That's a point ,I forgot he's a centre he's been doing so well at right back.

I was hoping that if we've agreed to let Nelsen go on 1st Feb that we already had someone lined up as a replacement!

With Nelson going and now possibly Ferdinand we already needed a CB to cover for injuries so that means we need 3 CBs.

We need an 'All points' on CB radio and see if anyone answers.

I would rather re-sign Connolly than have Ferdinand!

Quite simply we need at least two new CB's between now and next Friday.

Add to this the other deals that we are meant to be in negotiations on at the moment and I would predict 3/4 players in before 1st Feb.

Harry and the team have a tough job. I really hope they can pull something out of the bag here. Something that Hughes failed with.

I think we should look to take a centre back or two from a good championship side......like Palace maybe, Ramage, Gabbidon or Delaney?
