| Agueroooooooo! 16:10 - May 13 with 12280 views | Antti_Heinola | Sorry if already posted - but some nice stuff here about that day, with plenty from the Chief (who doesn't like Barton) about how hard it was for him, but also makes sure he says how much he loved QPR once he'd been there a while too. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/li No mention, however, yet again, of how Tevez smacked Barton first. What Barton did was inexcusable, but it's always baffled me how Tevez totally got away with it - what he did was a red card offence too, and he should also have received a ban. | |

| Agueroooooooo! on 15:55 - May 18 by daveB | Back to the Man City game and as part of my home schooling I recorded the game yesterday and my 11 year old son watched it today having no idea of the end result. He then had to write a match report of it. Was very amusing seeing his reactions through the game and then celebrating us being safe at the end saying that was so QPR the way we messed that up. |
Timing is everything with this thread and this post from daveB as a similar situation happened at my house this weekend. My daughter plays for an academy team and with the lockdown they have zoom meetings and get homework and the coach grills them on a game each week. This game was last weeks test and I sneaked in to the room to hear 15 girls talk about QPR and City in American accents it was pretty entertaining .A few interesting points they made .1.Barton is an assho*e and QPR having to play with 10 men in that environment led to their collapse in extra time . 2.Mackie ran probably 50 yards and headed the ball into the ground because it was the only way it was going in . 3. Kenny was incredible apart from the first goal but was so weary at the end he just stood on his line and that is how Dzeko headed that goal in.(Totally overlooked btw but without that goal City would not have won the title IMO) 4.Aguero was almost killed dead by that tackle from No 34 but he skipped over it and buired the winner.Did anybody stop to think how much pressure the shooter would have been under if it was a penalty and basically a score direct then the final whistle .(I am asking that ) 5.One girl suggested QPR knew they were safe and just blatantly kicked the ball down the field to kill time .I suspected this myself as we had a few chances to run to the corner and kill it off but it was probably fatigue at that stage. 6.Sguero is cute and even better without a shirt ] I cant see that at all 7.Watching the City fans cry and get fits of rage when it was slipping away was fun but they got their reward in the end. 8. Onother girl said she saw QPR players celebrating like they won with City players but I suspect they had swapped jerseys by then . Overall a great day for us
| Agueroooooooo! on 18:16 - May 18 with 1035 views | BrianMcCarthy | I watched it on a train from Cork to Dublin. I was travelling with a friend and at the beginning there was just the two of us watching the stream. Across the aisle from us was an Irish rugby international and he was bitching about us to someone on the other end of his telephone call, even though we had the sound low enough. By the end of the match there was a small crowd gathered around the laptop including the rugby fella himself. Pleasingly, he was a Man U fan! | |

Regarding point 8, your friend was correct, Cisse was an international team mate of sammy Nasri and was filmed celebrating with him.

watched it in the plough, ramsey. One bar full of citeh, watching us, the other full of utd. The only rangers fan, i went f'king mad for both goals, and sensed an undercurrent building! then a united fan popped his head in and thanked me for rangers winning for them, he got both barrels and the citeh fans decided i was alright, after all!
| Agueroooooooo! on 11:18 - May 19 with 896 views | francisbowles | Watched it in a bar in Kingston with a friend and Mrs FB. When Mackie scored I was out of my seat and on my knees in front of the big screen, and I was only on my second pint! As a sensible 54 year old I was a bit embarrassed the next day but eight years on, would I do it again? Probably but a bit slower. Our most glorious defeat? This or the 82 replay but it was certainly our most satisfying one. | | | |
