Three of us. Few months without football and I’d watch Sunday league all day long without moaning.

Did the Hypocrite odious racist wànker take the knee?

Yes. He placed it directly on the neck of a black man.

Technology failure there? looked a clear goal

It was a clear goal. All the years I have watched football, the ref would have seen the keeper over the line with the ball and awarded a goal. Now they aren't allowed to make a decision unless someone watching a screen miles away presses a button.
Disgusting.
Progress I dont think so.

Aside from racist scumbag, it probably didn't make as much news here but Pepe Reina essentialy came out in support of Spain's version of the BNP too recently

How was this Nketiah not getting a game ahead of Paddy Bamford at Leeds but gets a start ahead of Lacazette for Arsenal?

Because if the ref was incorrect they would be hung out to dry.

Referees got fed up with the criticism and turned the abundance of cameras at games back at the authorities. Winkers like Shearer having a go at refs after how he was always trying to get one over.

Arsenal's defence disintegrating.

So the Hawkeye people basically saying that the system might not work if the ball is near a goal keeper, a defender and a post. Sounds flawed to me.

Makes you wonder how we can trust the decisions it makes where they say the ball is over the line/ not over the line by a couple of centimeters if they couldn't make the correct decision tonight.

Because they're f*cking incompetent and have been since the whole VAR shitshow started.

It’s all a bit wrong now with Arsenal 2-0 down and their fans still singing. They only make a noise when they’re winning, and certainly not when they are losing.

Really enjoyed football being back, and the City game was quite entertaining, with the crowd stuff pretty decent I thought, all things considered
Arsenal were awful.

Bare bones.

All things considered, I’ve realised I’m generally only interested in QPR games and maybe those games that immediately affect us.

The only thing that keeps me on Sky Football is that and the red button.

Agreed. Joy to watch De Bruyne. Quickly forgot no fans and just enjoyed the game.

The irony of Big Racist John in amongst all the Black Lives Matter support...

I can only presume that he misread the T-Shirt as 'Black Wives Matter'.

And now a goal not given because his watch didn’t vibrate.Where is var when you need it?
[Post edited 17 Jun 2020 18:51]

Does the ref's watch have to vibrate for EVERY goal? I can see that this goal might have been difficult to confirm, but suppose it had been a 20-yard screamer into the top corner, and the watch didn't vibrate?

Yes it does. I think the reason given that the watch didn't go off is because all 7 of the cameras were obscured by players, in which case a 20-yard screamer would've been picked up.

Must respectfully disagree, the crowd sound was awful.

Blue Moon on a loop every couple of minutes with no break in the chanting at all. Arsenal fans singing full stop is laughable but doing so at 2-0 down, do me a favour.

That said was great to watch a game again and like em or loathe em Citeh are a joy to watch when they're in full flow

Yeah, but suppose a fault develops with the vibrating watch? Can the ref still give a goal?
