IMO I thought it was a pen. Amos just got to the ball first.
We were awful though. That first 20 mins we could have been out of the game.

I think Pearson is more upset about the penalty they didn't get before the one we got. I see the Quest folk all thought theirs was also a stonewall era.
Anyway I remember the dreadful penalty they got in stoppage time to win a few years back so it is good that we get a stoppage time winner against them for a change. |  | | |

Ref had a very good view of ours and their defender didn't get near the ball and I also think it was an obvious penalty.
I don't think he had such a good view of Dunne's challenge and it was in the uncertain category and therefore he was right not to give it.
I think the ref is average Championship standard, i.e. generally weak on things like kicking the ball away, standing on the keeper or the ball to prevent quick attacks and deliberate blocking. However not too bad overall. Pearson's comments, deluded, and he deserves any sanction coming. | | | |
