Though we also weren't happy with them when the away end boot was on the other foot, as I recall. 34 squid is a bloody liberty, though. Everyone out!

Poll: What will be our upcoming/final points tally? (8 games to go)

Weren't the issues with tickets for the game at theirs our own making for putting them straight on general sale? Although Reading could have made more available but decided not to. Also, what did they charge us? Doubt it was £34 but then they've got a stadium with plenty of seats going spare...

Poll: Who’s better?

How cares what those completely tedious cnts think. Hopefully none of them show up and they later get relegated and then we can all forget they ever existed.

It has to be the same as the equivalent area of the home section & this is the matchday price for the Upper Loft. Although, I assume that we could reduce it for a game.

It should be no surprise to their fans as they would have had to pay that for many a season.

They should count themselves lucky. Man.U. are charging Middlesbrough £45 for the Cup game. At least Reading fans get to see us play.

It’s interesting to see a rivalry and hatred build partly on ticket prices and allocation, 15/20 years ago there was almost no animosity towards Reading.

They’re dicks. I went from patronising pats on the head to Ted Hendrix levels of hatred when they started singing “Come On You Rs” out of the blue about ten years ago, not only nicking our kit but being so sh-t they nicked our song as well. The 0-0 game when we both got relegated was the worst most depressing game in QPR’s history and they have to take their share the blame. And this year a load of 14 year olds chucked a few lighters at our away end in the least scary mob showing we or anyone else will ever see. Their ground and town is bleak and depressing. Their music festival is quite good.

F-k them

Reading are a club with a very fickle fan base whose average attendance ranges from 21k in the Prem to 4k in the early 90’s when they were in League one/old division three.

Their ground is very much too big for them by approx. 10k seats and should be a lesson to us if we do ever build a new stadium.

If they get relegated, then they will have more existential issues to worry about ahead of ticket prices at Loftus Road (which are too expensive!)

This. Those numerous delusionals who suppose we're going to miraculously grow our fan base with a new ground and comfier seats, take note. We're actually quite similar to Reading in terms of fan base and accommodation needs. If, as is likely, we are likely to yo yo between the top three leagues in the coming years - probably spending most of our time bob bob bobbing along in the Champ, that marks our card further.

We got quite a few more than 4k when we were in league 1 .

Our attendances are a lot more stable than Reading’s.

Less consistent over our history is which level we play at. We probably could plan for the majority of seasons being in the Championship, with a couple in the Prem. Based on that, I really wouldn’t understand the rationale for a stadium that was much bigger than 20k.

Fulham might be the contrast although their low attendances came during 20 years of being fairly rubbish versus the exponential increase in attendances during 20 years of being pretty good. Still a risk if they were ever to go back to their league positions of the 80s/90s.

I think your ignoring the detail. Our need is not specifically for much larger capacity stadium, it is more for one that costs less to run, has better facilities and therefore is designed to increase revenue in multiple ways.

Bit like Brentford's.

Strangely enough . Reading fans are quiet happy to purchase season to sit to souless bowl and then not show up to sit in them.
In fairness 34 quid is a piss take!!

Most of their fans are Man U , Chelsea, Spurs etc but live in Berkshire so feel like they have to support Reading as well. Shit club. Shit Town. The only good thing to come out of Reading is Ricky Gervais, Kate Winslet and Basement records.. ;)

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

No, it's not a dead cat story. Issuing ticketing details for your forthcoming games is what all football clubs do all the time. If they had put out a press release accusing QPR of harbouring terrorists, that would be a dead cat story.

That useless bunch of plastics should be happy to pay whatever it takes to watch a proper team playing proper football.
