The case for Eustace 10:50 - Apr 28 with 16628 views | Headington | Well-regarded, promising young manager. Turned down two championship jobs to stay at QPR. Knows squad and can continue to develop young players following excellent job by Warburton. Aware of club's position and realistic about prospects. Wouldn't cost a lot.

The case for Eustace on 11:42 - May 1 by CamberleyR | More likely to have been Banfield. They were both at Arsenal at the same time so doesn't take a genius to put two and two together. |
Er, exactly. My post was in response to "As for Banfield, what is he for again?". Read it again!

The case for Eustace on 01:29 - May 4 with 2291 views | Benny_the_Ball | Playing devil's advocate; the case against Eustace: He has limited managerial experience (2 years to be exact). Whilst he did lead Kidderminster Harriers to the play-offs, it was in the National League. It's asking a lot to expect him to successfully step up to the Championship. Aside from this he had 7 games in caretaker charge of QPR, winning 2 and losing 4. He was part of Warburton's coaching staff and therefore has to take some responsibility for the recent collapse in form. He was part of Warburton's coaching staff so he may find it difficult to distance himself from the tension behind the scenes. He's been at the club since 2018 so his methods may now be stale. Clearly the players aren't responding to whatever message he and Warburton have been conveying in recent months. If he were offered the job he would need to change his methods in order rekindle the player's interest and get them performing. With so many players out of contract, this summer is going to be an important transfer window for QPR. Eustace has no experience in the transfer market at championship level. Interesting - which squad member are you?

Haha not quite but this was straight out the horses mouth of a first team player. Warbs more the CEO overlooking everything but it was Eustace running sessions.

Hardly surprising given that he's been linked with other championship jobs and played for Watford. However, their board does tend to look abroad and are not shy to pull the trigger. Take that job on at your peril!

3 years money for 6/7 months work - he should bite their hands off.
The case for Eustace on 08:21 - Feb 12 with 1130 views | Headington | Lots of caveats, benefit of hindsight., Beale on appointment seemed like an upgrade etc, but he does seem to be the one who got away. Sorted out the squad at beginning of Warburton's time, seems to be turning things round at mad Birmingham City. Had him under contract and seemed the obvious successor to Warbs. Clive asked Les about it and his response that Eustace was too involved with the squad was unconvincing (unless we regard that era as a failure).

Eustace clearly considered one of those who challenged Les and the PE teachers, so he was always going to leave with Warburton.
The case for Eustace on 09:13 - Feb 12 with 975 views | DejR_vu | Warburton should never have been let go. We used to laugh at Brentford for bottling the end of the season, they choked two or three times before getting it over the line. Now look at them. We choked badly, but Warburton had turned it round before. Over his tenure we were making progress and, on the whole, playing bloody good football. Too many people at QPR concerned with their own self-interest. ‘In the best interests of the club’ my arse. These idiots will destroy this club, if they haven’t already.
