We are almost at Zwickau after 3 hours on 3 seperate trains.Good luck to anyone doing this journey tomorrow for the game. And these were semi fast trains that we caught.
We had a gang of 4 dropouts who got on the 2nd train with a crate of beer and a ghetto blaster playing german grunge music at full blast for about 90 mins. Not the best journey I’ve ever had.

Still better than a charity road trip to all 92 league grounds in an Austin Allegro with 4 overweight Coventry fans eating scotch eggs.
I would imagine.
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Noble effort.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one’s lifetime. (Mark Twain)

Ever resourceful is our Stow, he's made an emergency change of plans....
That doesn’t sound at all promising. Just had a great night in Leipzig with a few beers and a curry- travelling over to Zwickau for the game tomorrow. Expectations suitably lowered. Try
Once on a train bound for Zwickau Some lads with a crate full of liquor Now their music was loud They wouldn't turn it down Boy that train couldn't move any quicker!
We drank at two different bars last night and the same people moved from the first one to the second after the 1st one closed at 9pm,and that was like a backroom of someone’s house. It had 6 tables and hardly room to swing a cat,but it was full of local characters. The main downside was that they all seemed to smoke cigarettes every 2 minutes, which took me back to the old days in the uk. Warm bottled beer doesn’t float my boat too much, but it was still a good night really as most only spoke German, but we had a translator who mixed german and English words together more and more the drunker he got. We had a kebab from a restaurant close to the bar and it was one of the best kebabs I’ve ever eaten. We also met the man from the box office at Zwickau fc and we started chatting to him and he told us that we’d sold 35 tickets for tonight’s game,so it will be like the old days of travelling up north with only a handful of other fans. But there are tickets on sale at the ground for the last minute rush expected.
For anyone travelling by train to Zwickau Sachs,if you come out of the station take the bonhofstrasse all the way down the hill for about 1/2 mile and cross over the humboldstrasse to where all the action is. The first bar is called bierstube on poetewegen strasse. And the 2nd bar is just around the corner.
That is the end of the Zwickau tour guide for now.
Ps.Everywhere we went they took cash only, but that wasn’t a problem as there are more banks than bars.
Apologies for the Typo: Should read have we ever played a team before beginning with Z? … not bringing with, whatever that means, or containing Z. And no need to mention the P word, you could have said either of the Brizzle teams or Eggzetter Zitty.
