| Paal and Johansen tonight 22:18 - Sep 14 with 5167 views | extratimeR | Well done both players tonight, I have criticized Paal early in season for defensive positioning and Johansen for well being passed it, but Paal has got better and better and Johansen was excellent tonight, Tim really got into the game in the Second half and he really was to much for Millwall. Mind you Laird looks the signing of the season. | | | | |

Well the converter that I've just used has 158 cm = 62 & 13â„64 inches i.e. just over 5'2 which is what I always thought he was. I noticed at Watford that he appeared to be slightly taller than everyone's favourite referee!

Paal, something else. Getting better every game. We may have a real find on our hands here. Absolutely loved Millwall thinking a 5ft 5in full back would be their key to the kingdom and then him winning every header - Paul Parker-like in his leap. |
Agree on both counts. Johansen absolute class at this level if he can get those creaking joints moving. Some superb touches last night, again. Paal took a couple of games to get used to the style of the Championship which I would imagine is very different to Dutch football but now coming on very nicely.

I don't think it's just recuperation with Johansen though. I went from thinking this guy is genuinely a league ahead of other midfielders in this division, playing two games every 10 days or so, to watching him snapping into pointless, even petulant tackles in nowhere positions, facing our goal. He barely played in March so unless there was an underlying fitness issue there, he just wasn't at the races. Maybe it's personnel - being paired with Jeff Hendrick would make me pretty petulant too - or maybe it's being allowed/told to play a different way (pressing towards the oppo goal) but he's absolutely fundamental to how we get about a game. Nope! Paal looks fractionally taller and is dipping is head slightly whereas Chair has his head up. Less than two inches in it, I think.

A quick look at my Panini sticker book will tell me their height, plus boot size.
